logiDecrypt - Free Decryption tool
|
logiDecrypt is a new
desktop software utility from logiforms.com that works in conjunction with the
logiforms form service. LogiDecrypt enables you to collect your secure form
submissions safely and securely. You can collect credit card and other sensitive
data through your secure webforms and have that information emailed to you securely.
logiDecrypt will then decrypt the encrypted email with a single click.
How logiDecrypt Works
When you first sign up for an account at logiforms.com, a unique public private
key pair is generated using Military Strength RSA encryption. The private key
is sent to you. The public key is stored on-line with your logiforms.com account.
After this process is complete, you can select any fields on your form to be
encrypted. Once a field is flagged as encrypted, anytime that
form/field is submitted it is encrypted using your public key stored on our
server. Only your private key can decrypt the encrypted in formation..
logiforms gives you 3 ways to retrieve the highly secure, encrypted data. You
can:
- Log into logiforms.com and export the data to excel/text file.
You enter your private key and all of the encrypted data is download and decrypted on the fly.
- Log into logiforms.com and browse through the submission bin
You enter your private key and the encrypted record displayed is decrypted. (browsing record by record)
- Using logiDecrypt, you set up an email notification profile and send the form submission data via email
The email arrives, you click the attachment, and logiDecrypt instantly decrypts the data.
Unlike other form processing services, logiforms provides powerful RSA encryption
on top of SSL encryption. Why do we provide two levels of encryption? Because
SSL (Secure Socket layer) encryption is meant to encrypt your sensitive and
private data while it is in transit over the internet. Once that information
makes it to our servers, it can be encrypted again using RSA encryption and
then stored encrypted. Because the data is stored encrypted
with your unique public/private key, only you can decrypt the
data. Even in the unlikely event that our database security was compromised
by internet hackers, your data would remain encrypted, and unbreakable. This
extra level of encryption also enables you to email the encrypted data and use
logiDecrypt to decrypt it on your desktop. Remember, email is highly insecure
and you should never send sensitive information via email - unless its encrypted!
